It’s no secret that the pandemic has changed just about everything when it comes to how we connect with each other and the wedding industry is no exception. While traditional wedding expos have been forced to adapt during the pandemic, cancelling and postponing as cases rise, and adjusting their focus to adapt to changing consumer habits, Nicole Herinckx with Zilla has stepped in to fill the gap. With this year’s Wedding Fest PDX she’s bringing the best wedding advice and inspiration to your living room with a series of five virtual discussions featuring some of the most renowned experts and local vendors in the region.
Starting March 1st, Wedding Fest PDX will consist of five weekly sessions where experts will discuss their latest insights and share advice around the topics that any newly-engaged couple needs to know as they begin planning their wedding. Each session will include time for a live Q&A from those in attendance and is designed to be a collaborative and community building experience.
Attendees can choose between registering for a specific session for $5 on Eventbrite, or get a discount for registering for all five.
Nicole already has two virtual Wedding Fests under her belt and has learned how to truly capitalize on the format. Traditional in-person events don’t typically cater to every couple out there. It can be difficult for those with complicated schedules to find the time to attend, and even once they do, they may find the experience overwhelming. The wedding planning process is complicated enough without trying to navigate which events will be worth the time, energy, and investment to attend.
Wedding Fest PDX offers an easy, low-stakes way for couples to take an active step in their wedding planning process. In each of the five sessions, attendees will be able to learn from experts, be inspired by the latest wedding trends, connect with other couples in similar circumstances, and imagine ways to create the wedding of their dreams. Each attendee will also gain access to a Curated Vendor Portfolio and Digital Swag Bag following the event.
As the temperatures continue to warm and the 2022 wedding season begins to pick up steam, Wedding Fest PDX is perfectly timed to support newly engaged couples with all of their planning needs.
