Don is a great communicator, very professional, super helpful and cares about giving it his all to make sure we had a great ceremony. He made our guests laugh a few times, very charming and professional. I had the pleasure of meeting his wife and she was lovely as well; she helped us get our cues to walk into the church which was very helpful. We had a couple of hiccups happen a few days before the wedding and we thought we were going to have to push it back by a couple of weeks. I contacted Don and let him know and he was very supportive and helpful. I could tell Don genuinely wanted to help us and make it to the rescheduled date even if he had to stretch himself too thin. Thankfully; we didn’t end up having to push it back but I was sure grateful that he was our minister… a genuinely kind and lovely person. Thank you, Don!

Pastor Don was a joy to work with from the start! On day one, it felt like he already knew me and my husband. We clicked immediately, and he understood exactly what we were looking for in our ceremony. We didn’t have a church wedding ceremony, and opted instead for a blend of Christian and Muslim traditions. Pastor Don took the time to listen and get to know us, and helped us create a ceremony that was truly personal and reflective of our long love for each other. He put together a draft of what he was going to say very quickly, giving us a number of options for vows and readings that he could incorporate. We could tell they were all carefully selected, and we had a tough time picking one because we loved them all. We added our own touch to the vows and reading and Pastor Don immediately came ready when it was time to practice at the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. Pastor Don was responsive, flexible and extremely easy to work with. On our wedding day, he arrived early, prepared and ready to go. He was a calming presence for me on an otherwise crazy day. There will be a million things to worry about on your wedding day, and you’ll be grateful to know that with Pastor Don, you have one less thing to stress over. He’s a professional, and is great at what he does.
HOW IT ALL STARTED…
Many years ago when I was a Business Consultant for McDonald’s Corp, one of my co-workers asked if I knew someone who could perform their wedding ceremony. After giving it some thought, I said “hey, I can do that” and the rest is history! In 1996, I became known as the ‘go-to’ guy in the McDonald’s family of matrimony, performing ceremonies from Longview, WA to Eugene, OR.
My wife; Dodie, and I have been happily married since 1993. We love celebrating
these moments with couples and strive to make each and every one of them special in every way. As a licensed, ordained, Minister; I am honored to be chosen to perform these important ceremonies. I look forward to uniting you and your loved one in holy matrimony.
